Our protagonist is Mitsurugi Souichi, who recently lost his girlfriend in an accident and he still mourns her death. The game begins as he opens his eyes, only to see himself confined in a room he doesn’t know. He slightly remembers how he get abducted by some people but he doesn’t know who are those people or the reason why they abducted him. He soon realizes he has a collar on his neck and a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant).

When he starts reading the PDA screen, he is interrupted by a girl, Himehagi Sakumi, who is abducted like Souichi and she too has no memory other than fainting. Also she exactly looks like Souichi’s dead girlfriend. Drk Typo3 Template Installieren Date here.

Souichi resumes reading the script written in the PDA with Sakumi and finds out that they are in a game and if they disobeys certain rules the collar on their neck will explode. Although thinking this as nothing more than a sick prank of some people at first, he soon realizes that is not the case— upon seeing a headless corpse.

There are a total of 13 players, 13 collars and 14 PDAs (one for each player and a joker PDA) and each of the players have different conditions to take off the collar. Some of these conditions are harmless like walk into every checkpoint in the game or survive 71 hours (the game lasts for 72 hours by the way), while some of them are really dangerous like be only one to survive or make 5 collars explode. Naturally,those with the contradictory conditions are not expected to be in the same team and those whose conditions comply with each other are most likely to cooperate during the game. Only exception is our protagonist and the girl called Sakumi. Souichi needs to kill the owner of the Queen PDA, and Sakumi has the Queen PDA. Story (8/10): The story is a thrilling one. You are always wondering what will happen next.

There are traps, different weapons and programs and the weapons are getting more and more deadlier as the time passes. And this is quite problematic because neither Soichi or Sakumi wants to kill people. Or rather, most of the players, as they are normal people who are dragged into this madness without their will by some unknown people, dislikes the idea of killing people.

But only Souichi and his group (two other people will also team up with him) are absolutely against killing people. These principles give them really trouble because most of the players sooner or later begin not to care about killing people. And there are people who can’t survive without killing people as well, as I have said before.

The story is mostly about Souichi and his team trying to survive. Even his and Sakumi’s romance are getting a really short time. I think the game could be better if it was long enough to develop characters more. I mean we know nothing about Soichi, the protagonist of the series, other than he absolutely hates the idea of killing people and he is suicidal because of his girlfriend’s death. It would be far better if we could see the character’s background in the story as well. Characters (5/10): There are 13 players in total and of course it is impossible to develop every single of them in a short visual novel like this.

But even the main characters are not developed well and we know nothing about them except their one or two traits. And I didn’t like Souichi’s suicidal attitude as well. I mean he has no will to survive the game and I didn’t find it realistic even though he feels terrible because he has lost her girlfriend not long ago. It would be more enjoyable if he did something to survive for himself and not the others, or simply had an inner fight in his mind to choose the correct path or choose to survive no matter what. He did neither. Good thing about the characters are that there are various types of characters.
