Hi, I just got this in the mail. Paid $250 for a Tial 38 MV-S wastegate and got this Taiwan piece of garbage instead. Sellers LINK, his ebay account is vspeedrace The box suppose to come printed with this box label, instead is a cheap ink imitation. NO quality What the hell?:????? Suppose to be sealed valve, no air, water, or light should leak when valve is closed, Fakes leak without been installed. Tial Original are Stainless Steel Alloy, look at this piece of crap material Is that rust????? Crack Per Thermos Trial Bike. ? This wastegates are made of puzzle pieces?? Wow - that IS junk. It's amazing at what great lengths are gone to to make a copy of a ~300 part. If I'm going through THAT much trouble.I'm copying Benjamins.not wastegates:) The quality of Tial pieces is way up there; I also enjoy that they are some of the few components on my car that are made in the U.S.A.

I bet these knock-off's completely burn their balls, especially since it's a blatant rip-off, and that the quality is so sub-standard. They make fantastic stuff, and it sucks to see it knocked off like that. At least the information to ID a fake is readily available.

Imagine, if it wasn't, you'd run that wastegate and think poorly of an otherwise standup company. Just so you know, paypal refund policy is a joke. They will not give you a dime unless they are able to FIRST wrestle the money away from the seller. (Ask me how I know.) I just got a full refund on a $100 bike fork I bot that was all kinds of screwed up. Just write the complaint out very clearly as to what's wrong with it, and how it is not even the actual Tial part, but a cheap Chinese clone. If the guy does not respond, they will refund and likely close his acct.

Just be VERY logical about how you go through the process. Use only the eBay messaging system for communication, as they can track that for reference.
