4/17/2013 7:29 PM I am having trouble logging into some of our APC UPS via the APC InfraStruxure Manager. If the UPS is set for HTTP login, the APC Manager can login to all UPS just fine. However, we would like to use HTTPS. When using HTTPS, we are able to login to some using the Manager, but not others. Strangely, the ones that I cannot login to via HTTPS in the Manager don't work using IE8 either. I get this message, 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'.

But if I try to HTTPS into them using FireFox, it works fine. I have tried resetting my IE8 settings, didn't make any difference.

The Infrastruxure Manager doesn't working using FireFox, so that doesn't do me much good. I have not checked all of them, but it seems so far that our newer UPS(with newer style NMC) can be logged into via the Manager using HTTPS without issue, but the older UPS/NMC cannot be logged into with HTTPS from the Manager. I see this error upon launching the Manager via IE8. I'm not sure if it's related at all. 'APC InfraStruxure Manager LSP install failed with win32 error code 1603.'

I am unsure if we have the newest version of the Manager, we have version 4.7 Build 275. Model number of the Manager is AP92200, Hardware Revision 1.0, Mfg Date 6/1/2006. When I try to check for Updates from the Manager, it says 'Error checking for updates'. This discussion is marked as answered 4/17/2013 7:55 PM (in response to Joel) Your issue with IE8 and HTTPS on AP9617/18/19 is most likely this ->www.apc.com/site/support/index.cfm/faq/ ->search for FA162031 Also, 4.7 is the newest build of manager but it has been discontinued for some time and also prior to IE8 release. Thus, I don't think we can support IE8 and ISX manager if it does not work. Anyway, I don't think that matters because of the issue I believe you're having is related to a windows update blocking 768 bit certs. Since ISX Manager is so old, I am not sure if there is a way to check for updates any more unfortunately. Mr. Photo 1.6 Download.
